{Video}: Prince and Bethany Discuss their Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Training
A couple of days ago, we released the first in a series of videos that highlight the professional development opportunities offered to our faculty this year. In this first video, Matt, Barbie, Kate and Elizabeth talk about their Responsive Classroom training and how they have implemented what they learned.
In this video, you’ll meet Prince and Bethany, two of our sports program instructors. Prince attended the NAIS People of Color Conference in the fall, and Bethany attended the Severn School Conference on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. They answered our questions about their experiences and what these opportunities meant to them.
Programs like these are made possible thanks to donations to our Annual Giving fund. We have been challenged to reach 150 individual new or increased donations to Annual Giving before May 15 to unlock a $15,000 bonus. Help us reach our Annual Giving goal, and support additional professional development opportunities for our faculty and staff by texting “poppy” to 243725 to contribute or visit burgundyfarm.org/giving.
