The Class of 2023 Presents “Honk! Jr.”
This year’s 8th grade musical is upon us! The Class of 2023 is eager to present the musical production of Honk! Jr. to our community in a few short weeks. Based on Hans Christian Andersen’s beloved story, “The Ugly Duckling,” Honk! Jr. tells the story of an odd-looking baby duck, Ugly, and his quest to find his mother. Soon after Ugly is born, he is lured away by a wily Cat who wants to eat Ugly for dinner.
Eventually, Ugly manages to escape but has no idea how to return home. From there, he embarks on an adventure to find his way back to his mother, meeting a plethora of characters along the way. This adventure helps the young duckling learn to be brave, kind, and courageous.
Join the Class of 2023 in the Logan Loft Theater on Thursday, May 18 at 4:15 pm, Friday, May 19 at 7:00 pm, and Saturday, May 20 at 3:00 pm as Ugly finds his way! A parent or guardian must accompany students in attendance and there will be designated floor seating in front of the stage for children.
