Extended Day & Enrichments

Extended Day Program

Burgundy's Extended Day offers a dynamic program, an excellent student-teacher ratio, and a well-trained and nurturing staff mornings and afternoons throughout the school year. Enrichment classes on a variety of topics are available in fall, winter, and spring.

MORNING EXTENDED DAY - Hours of operation: 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.

AM Ex Day will be free of charge for ALL families registered for the Extended Day Regular Plan. All other families will be charged the $10/day drop-in fee. Space is limited to the first 20 registrations we receive. Drop-in service is available, based on space, for $10. You must notify the Director of Auxiliary Services one day in advance. Drop-in Morning Extended Day is billed after the service is provided via the Business Office or at the time of service via direct bank account deduction.

*Morning Extended Day is NOT offered on Professional Days or during Break Camps.

AFTERNOON EXTENDED DAY - Hours of operation: 3:15 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

The afternoon care begins at 3:15 p.m. when students are dismissed from their classes, and ends at 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Extended Day program provides homework time, organized games, arts and crafts projects, snack, and free play. Our flexible program offers full-time and/or holiday enrollment, as well as daily drop-in care.

The Burgundy Extended Day program uses an online attendance system to track student attendance during the school year. At the beginning of the school year families will receive, via email, a unique, individual four-digit PIN number that will be used at the time of pick-up to sign out their student(s). There will be a separate PIN number of each parent and all other individuals who are listed for that student(s) as authorized to pick-up.
