Burgundy’s Auction 2025

Mark Your Calendars for Saturday, May 3!

The Auction is our school’s primary fundraising event every spring. All proceeds from the Auction benefit Burgundy’s financial aid program. This elegant and celebratory event for current parents and other guests features excellent company, cocktails, fantastic food, music, dancing, raffles, and a silent and live auction.

Members of our community generously donate and/or solicit donations for items, services, and experiences that make up the offerings in the silent and live auctions. A wide range of Auction items at various values offer opportunities for all community members to take home something unique and support financial aid.

A new theme for the event is unveiled each year (to be shared very soon!), and more information on how to register will be featured on this page — so check back! In the meantime, please feel free to submit donations, become an event sponsor, and/or purchase ad space in this year’s digital Auction program.

Auction Procedures through Bidpal

Upon registration through the Bidpal platform (either on your mobile device or computer), each bidder will receive a bidder number. The assigned bidder number must be used throughout the Auction for bidding and purchases.

Unless otherwise specified, all goods and services must be redeemed within one year of the auction. Please be respectful of our donors and carefully note the terms and limitations set forth by the donor. Values indicated for some items are estimates only. The Auction Committee and School do not warrant the value for any purpose. By his/her purchase, the buyer waives any claims for liability against either the School or the donor of the good or service. Neither the School nor the donor is responsible for any personal injury or damages to property that may result from the use of the goods or services sold.

All sales are final and there will be no refunds or exchanges except where specified. Your charitable deduction for the purchase of items at the Auction is limited to the amount, if any, by which your payment exceeds the fair market value of that item. This is true even though the item was donated to Burgundy for the auction at no cost to the School. You will receive a text message receipt for all items purchased at the auction that indicates the fair market value and the amount that you paid. Please keep your receipt with your income tax records. The IRS may disallow any deductions for which you cannot produce a receipt when asked to do so.

Silent Auction: All bidding will be done virtually with your mobile device or your computer through the Bidpal platform. Please note: All Silent Auction items will close at one time.

Live Auction: The bidder may enter a bid by raising their paddle so that the auctioneer can see it. The auctioneer will determine the highest bidder and on his call, title for the item will pass to the winner. The auctioneer’s decision will be final. 

Special Appeal: Also known as “Raise the Paddle”, this portion of the evening will raise direct donations for financial aid support. 

Payment: You will receive a text message with your winning bids and purchases by the end of the Auction. Your purchases will be paid with the credit card you used for your Bidpal registration.

Pick-Up: Proceed to the pickup location the night of the event to redeem your winnings or purchased items.
