Our spring teams have become more competitive; the teamwork throughout the school day and during games is beautiful to see, and the leadership from our 8th graders has been phenomenal.
In response to our “White Fragility” Java with Jeff book talk on November 9, which included over 40 Burgundians in attendance, we are offering additional opportunities for Burgundy’s adult community members to come together, book club style, and talk about this profound and bestselling book. Parents and employees are welcome to attend one or all sessions!
We will have two book club groups meeting on different dates and ask that you select one with which to participate.
The first group will meet on the following Sundays from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. | 2/9, 4/19, 5/10
The second group will meet on the following Fridays from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. | 2/7, 4/3, 5/22
Please RSVP to one of the two groups using the form below.
Missed the original Java with Jeff? Before these book clubs get started, Burgundy will host a second introduction to “White Fragility” on Thursday, January 30 from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. Depending on the size of the group, this event will be located in the Library or the Loft.
You can RSVP to the Java with Jeff using the form below.
We look forward to exploring this important book and topic with you!
