Hopefully you have noticed by now that Burgundy’s website has a new and improved look. What you may not realize, however, is that the newly designed website is a small part of a multi-year rebranding project.

Over the past twelve months, with the help of members of our community and an outside firm specializing in branding and communications, Burgundy has made every effort to ensure that its message—written and visual—accurately reflects the gift that is the Burgundy experience. What Burgundy offers is special and increasingly important in today’s world. Our goal in pursuing this project was to tell the Burgundy story in the truest and most effective ways possible to reach as many people as possible. We believe in Burgundy.

This project started with a slightly refined logo and has since involved the redesign of all admission materials (stop by Lori’s office for a peek at the new view book!) and all necessary stationary, an increased social media presence, an investment in outreach to new audiences, and now a new website!

We’d like to bring special attention to the portion of the website called “The Burgundy Difference.” It is here where we spotlight the principles and assets that make Burgundy stand apart from other independent schools—our two beautiful campuses, a progressive approach to education, an emphasis on the arts, and the importance of social-emotional learning as well as diversity, equity and inclusion as part of our culture and curriculum.

Yes, many hours and hands went into pulling this off. But it also presented few difficulties because Burgundy is easy to make look good! Our school wouldn’t be what it is without every member of this community, and for that—for you—we are grateful.

While we will continue to hone our strategy, message, and language, we encourage you to take a peek around the new website. If you see anything on the new site that needs attending to, please reach out to communications manager Christen Kinard at christenk@burgundyfarm.org.
