Our dynamic, innovative, integrated academic program engages children and prepares graduates for success at a wide range of area high schools, and, as our alumni testify over and over again, in life. Burgundy’s 503-acre West Virginia campus and 26-acre Alexandria campus provide unique laboratories for learning where students can engage their curiosities and explore nature. Theme-based units and project-oriented classwork on both campuses combined with field trips that utilize the vast resources of the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area provide students with in-depth and active learning experiences.
Our individualized approach to teaching teaches analytical and critical thinking and is attuned to the unique development of each child. Burgundy’s academic program inspires and sustains children’s natural curiosity and creativity, while our community invites parents, friends, and extended family to share in the exciting learning journeys their student will make at Burgundy.
