Board of Trustees and BPA Nominations

The annual search for nominees to serve on the Board of Trustees or in a leadership role for the Burgundy Parent Association (BPA) has begun. The Committee on Trustees welcomes your input for these two important roles.

The Board of Trustees governs the school’s affairs in close partnership with the Head of School and administrators.  In considering Board nominees, the Committee on Trustees actively seeks to support a culture of diversity and inclusivity of people, ideas, experiences, and Burgundy ambassadorship.  We welcome all nominees and particularly seek individuals who can best support our current strategic needs.

The Burgundy Parent Association (BPA) is a strategic partner with the Board and administration in advancing the school’s mission. The BPA is coordinated by a Chair, Vice Chair, and steering committee whose primary functions and responsibilities include fostering a sense of community and collaborating with the administration and the Board to provide parental involvement and engagement opportunities. The BPA is looking for Chair and Vice Chair nominations.

The Committee on Trustees will meet with the candidates in January before preparing a slate that will be presented to the community for a vote in February 2023. Thank you for your assistance in helping assure good stewardship of Burgundy!
