Our Diverse Community Update
- Established a Board Diversity Committee.
- Reviewed and adjusted both calculations of financial aid and auxiliary services pricing in support of our targeted enrollment, diversity and affordability.
- Elevated a Director of DEI to the administrative leadership team.
- Undertaken extensive and ongoing sequence of DEI training as part of the faculty, staff and Board development.
- Expanded the social studies and humanities curriculum/program goals to specifically address issues of diversity and equity, both historically and in current times.
- Embarked on a comprehensive assessment of inclusivity and multiculturalism in all aspects of academic, social and emotional wellbeing using the NAIS Assessment of Inclusivity and Multiculturalism (AIM).
